YOUSSOUFI IN WEST AFRICA
Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi toured West Africa visiting five countries in a week.  The purpose of the visit was to boost relations between  Morocco and sub-Saharan countries and to also lobby African nations to side  with Morocco on the western Sahara conflict at the eve of the OAU Summit in Algiers.  The countries visited between May 29 and June 5 were Senegal, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Gabon and Burkina Faso
