SEEKING FREE-LANCE WRITERS

The North Africa Journal is currently seeking free-lance reporters who will gather news and perform analysis on the weekly basis.

Key responsibilities will be to gather, write and report news stories for the North Africa Journal.

Candidates will cover:

• Current economic and political events and decisions made by public officials and business leaders
  
  
• Read documents, observe events, and be able to provide analysis
  
  
• Take notes, tape interviews, and verify information as you work

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English required
  
  
• Economics or business background necessary. Understanding of local politics a plus
  
  
• Must be citizen of a North African country or a foreign resident with appropriate work permit
  
  
• Candidates must be located in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia or Libya.
